Chronometer in copper cardan. Dial with hour and seconds hands; timekeeper marked on the dial: 'Breguet et fils N 3202 H. gers de la Marine Royale'. The whole in walnut case with brass fittings. Double lid with sight glass. On upper lid copper plate marked "l'Amerique" and checkered-shaped plate marked "n 3202". On inside of lid adhesive label marked: "nettoyé, arrangé et reglé en Fevrier et Mars 1889 par M. Eug. Mauler de Neufchatel" "juin 97 3 ch af.". With regulation certificate from the Royal Observatory of Belgium, 1912. With brass key in T-shape.
