Description
The Anversville - the second ship to bear the name - entered into service in 1912 as a liner between Antwerp and Mataldi. During the First World War, it served the United Kingdom and not Antwerp. It was the largest vessel owned by the Compagnie Belge Maritime du Congo. On board, there were berths for 322 passengers. The ship made a record number of 134 voyages and was withdrawn from service in 1938.
