C. Nooteboom identified this model as a boat with a loading capacity of 450 kg. According to Worcester, being unable to place this model, it is not very reliable. The occurrence of a long sweep instead of a rudder aft indicates, according to him, that this boat was used for descending rapids, the model possibly coming from the Chongqing region. There are, however, better parallels with ships used for descending the rapids of the Wulongjiang, a tributary of the River Min, rendering an attribution to Fuzhou more reliable.
