This is a classic example of Nasca textile. The central figure of a stylized, radiant sun is flanked above and below by two panels consisting of stepped lines and rectilinear curves. In the colours and motifs we find the use of complementary pairs. Like most indigenous textiles this piece of fabric is not perfectly symmetrical and it is just this quality that lends it its beauty.
