A crane comparable to this was known as Grote Gust and in the period following the Second World War was the largest floating crane in the port of Antwerp. The Gusto crane was replaced in 1981 by the Brabo sheerleg crane: with a lifting capacity of 800 tonnes, this is five times as strong as the Gusto crane.
